Several of you have expressed interest in having an informal monthly meeting. We are going to start that in January, and the chosen date is the 3rd Thursday of the month. The first meeting will be January 21 at 6pm. We'll be discussing spring management, and specifically thinking about what we do and when we do it to get our hives built up and ready for the spring honey flow.
Garry Reeves has graciously offered to host the first few meetings in his wood shop. When the weather turns better, we may start moving the meetings around to various bee yards.

Jim, how far is Gary's place from KY? If I have an easy day at work that day I would like to go to the meeting.

Moores Hill,IN is about 20 minutes from Lawrenceburg,IN. You can probably use Yahoo Maps to find it just fine.

I'm sorry to hear that. we had a sign by the driveway. Do you think it was too dark?
We had a good time and a good turnout for a Thursday evening. We will get you in there next time.

What sign? Maybe I turned around to soon. I might try again next month. I am sure the darkness and rain hindered my efforts to find Gary's house.

We want you there so if you want to meet someone in Lawrenceburg and follow them in or we can make a special trip so you can find Gary's place.
We are all about helping each other. You can't help us unless you are there and it works the other way around too.

our regular meeting is this Thursday eve at 6:00 at Garry's place. bring your tool box/bucket so we can see what tools you are bringing to your bee yard.
